Archway Workforce Consulting was started by Brian Korsmeier as the vehicle for providing consulting and research in the growing field of Contingent Workforce utilization and management (CWM). 

His purpose is to help companies better understand their situation and then improve visibility into, lower the costs of, optimize the use of, and reduce the risks associated with their contingent workforce and service providers.

A related activity is working with CWM service providers to develop, improve, or fine-tune their service offerings for the better servicing of their clients' needs, whether they are Managed Service Providers, Vendor-on-Premise, or Vendor Management System (VMS) technology providers.
